Texas Early ChildhoodThe Texas Early Learning Council has just released the Texas Early Childhood Workforce Compensation Study (pdf), a survey of child care workers from across Texas with the purpose of gathering accurate information about their wages and retention. Data collection and analysis for the study were conducted by the the Ray Marshall Center and the School’s Child and Family Research Institute (CFRI). Drs. Dnika Travis and Monica Faulkner led the research for the study at the CFRI.
