Research Associate and Lecturer
Noel Landuyt, Ph.D., is a research associate and lecturer at the Steve Hicks School of Social Work, and director of the Institute for Organizational Excellence (IOE). He is also managing editor of Professional Development: International Journal of Continuing Social Work Education.
At IOE, Landuyt directs various research projects in the area of organizational development, customer service, leadership and supervisory effectiveness, and employee attitudinal assessment. The primary project he coordinates is the Survey of Organizational Excellence (SOE). The SOE is an employee assessment instrument widely used throughout Texas governmental agencies, not-for-profit organizations, and in many different types of organization across the country. Landuyt directs the research efforts and provides consultation services supporting these research initiatives. He serves as a consultant for various organizational settings such as corrections, law enforcement, civil service organizations, non-profit, higher educational institutions, and governmental organizations. Landuyt has written and conducted presentations on the use of 360-degree evaluations of supervisors, leadership assessments, organizational development recommendations, data collection methodologies, and on other topics related to human resource utilization and organizational development.
